WEEK OF April 8th, 2001
<HI EVERYONE!>
Another ten issues has past, yey, and Winter is gone! No more snow
and cold weather! I had a great week, the months sure are flying. It
just hit me that next month, the very last Animorphs books will be
released, and then no new Animorphs book will come out. That is so
sad to think about, don't you think? There's a lot of great news this
week so read on....

Last week's forum responses: what type of Animorphs related pranks
would you do for April Fools?
"Well, I've already pulled some. I told my friend that there would be
12 more Animorphs books, then he got happy, then I said, "April
Fools!" and he got sad. Then I said that instead of one Animorph
dying, they all would die. But he didn't believe me. I am a bad
liar. :) P.S. Maybe they do all die! "

animorphs and tell them there is an alien invasion going on. it's
happened to me before but I know (of couse) of animorphs..... that's

-- REMNANTS' RELEASE SCHEDULE!
Tons of it this week! According to Jeff, K.A. is writing book #4
RIGHT NOW and she's half way done and #7 is being outlined now! It
also looks like the books will be coming out every OTHER month:
#1 The Mayflower Project -- June 15, 2001
#2 Destination Unknown -- August 2001
#3 -- October 2001
#4 -- December 2001
#5 -- February 2002
#6 -- April 2002
#7 -- June 2002
This schedule is only tentative, so it could change. Jeff also says
that the proof copy of book #1 has 172 pages (he's read it), #2 is
the same amount and #3 is about 182 pages! We now also know that K.A.
has added a few special pages in #1! Since Remnants takes place in
the future, K.A. has added a section in the book about the language,
the aliens, the political structure, and a background on the story-
arc!
-- ANIMORPHS BIBLE NEWS
Jeff comes through again, this time he's posted info on what the
Animorphs Bible is going to cover and include! K.A. will write an
introduction to the entire book, Jeff says K.A.'s original series
proposal and her details of the stories will be reprinted! It will
have info on the characters, the aliens also even K.A.'s alien
drawings and little images of the characters she made by cutting up
magazines! There'll be recaps of all the books and interviews with
the editors, the cover artists, cover designers, and even the cover
models! There might be bits on the romances and aliens and a
glossary. There will also probably be a small section about the
merchandise and TV show (not much though). The book should be out
around September.
-- ANIMORPHS #54 AND THE ROLLING STONES
OK, what do the Animorphs #54 cover and the famous rock group The
Rolling Stones have in common? They both have similar covers! Thanks
to LynnCTD for pointing out that one of the Rolling Stones CD covers
has similarities to the cover of #54. The CD is called "Hot Rocks
1964-1971" and was originally released in 1971! Here's the CD cover:

This is a very minor spoiler for #53 or #54, so if you don't want it
a bit spoiled, don't read on: More from Jeff on the Morphz's Message
Board, he says the last name of ONE of the Animorphs will be revealed
(maybe the one who dies?). Also, the location where the Animorphs are
in the last two books will be revealed. Ans just so you know, Jeff
had guessed Florida, and he was totally wrong!
