Unacceptable Risk

A poem about Jake's point of view after the battle between him and Tom, and loosing the morphing cube.

Cassie the healer,
You tried to protect me.
But why did you give them the morphing cube,
It only saddens and confuses me.
The only weapon we had and now its gone.
You could've doomed the world trying to save me.
Humanity could loose because you had loved me.
You tried to save me.
Could I ever forgive you?
No,its out of the question.
You risked everything to save,
An unacceptable risk.
You could've doomed humanity.
The entire world as we know it,
Lost and enslaved
Because you were foolish enough to care
And tried to save me.
Never forgivable.
And yet,you did it to save me.
The fact that you did it save me,made me see.
I finally understand that you truley loved me.
You could've enslaved humanity,because you cared.
Now more clearly I saw that I loved you, Cassie.
