Tight pants, Afros and All Around Queerness

Anyone who knows me can tell you. I hate certain "pop" singers. The one's I'm ranting about today happen to be Nsync and Britney Spears.

I don't hate them because of how they look. I could care less about that. It's just a factor of how dumb they actually are. I don't think I would mind them so much if they weren't so popular. I know that sounds mean, but I have a reason,

They are fake. Not a thing about them is original. Nsync is a complete copy of the Backstreet Boys. Put when they made that copy the Xerox machine must have been broken.

Cause face it, they did a horrible job.

I know there's a big stereotype around "boybands". Everyone seems to think they're all the same, that one Is just like the other. Which is not true.

BSB came first, I'm sorry, but they did, they were popular for years before Nsync showed up. And while the groups both looked the same, the differences were startling. For one, BSB actually knew each other before they were a group. They were the first boyband since New Kids On The Block.

And they had actual talent.

After BSB became famous Nsync comes along, company made. Packaged and ready for sale, like peanut butter. Ready to take home and eat.

And for some reason, I'm the only one who sees that!

I mean, look at them. They look like trash, they have afros and wear leather pants, (for those of you who have a TV guide check out Justin's brilliant comment about wearing leather pants ^_^) they had cornrows, they try and act like inner city kids when I can assure you, that they weren't! They look, queer, they act queer, they sing songs that they didn't even write! And Still they are amazingly popular.

The same with Britney, the girls songs are anything but thought out, they have no point, it's bad song writing. And what is good she didn't write. She's only liked because guys are to blind to see that she has no talent! She's fake, everything about, a big blob of cilicone, makeup and bad clothes! Fake,fkaefakefakefakefakefakefake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And while Nsync and Britney are so popular, some amazing, cute, talented people are ignored!

Take Savage Garden for instance, while Nsync sits around in leather pants and lip syncs, SG writes there own songs, sings them, and plays their own instruments. But Nsync is tons popular.

And Savage Garden is a lot cuter too.

And the lyrics of the songs are brilliant, while Nsync's are…well, dumb.

Savage Garden says :

Love and other moments are just chemical reactions in your brain
In your brain
And feelings of aggression are the absence of the love drug in your veins

Love come quickly
Because I feel my self-esteem is caving in

Nsync says:

Brilliant lyrics eh? Even I can think that up, Bye,Bye,Bye. So hard. And don't make me bring up the stupidity of Digital Get Down, whose gay lyrics were inappropriate to post in a PG rant!

Savage Garden on the other hand has lyrics of pure poetry, they're beautiful, and they sing great.

So next time yo buy a CD, think, do I want a CD by a fake blonde cilicone blob, or an afro wearing tight panted wanna be?

Or someone who knows what they're doing.
